This time last week I was on pins and needles awaiting the long awaited, much anticipated Animal Ball.. hosted at Victoria House, Bloomsbury Square, London in aid of The Elephant Family Charity.

I was lucky enough that be one of the designers at the previous Animal Ball in 2013 hosted by HRH Prince Charles at St James Palace so when I was approached to participate again this year I jumped at the Chance!!

This year headline designers included Mathew Williamson, Burberry, Chloe, Mario Testino, Philip Treacy and Piers Atkinson to name a few so to be designing masquerade masks alongside them was just an amazing experience.

The Ball itself was simply fabulous, Victoria House was transformed into a safari with the most incredible background for one of the best parties of the year with guests including Ellie Goulding, Princess Eugenie, Anna Friel, James Middleton, Donna Air and many other fabulous guests!!

Hopefully the event managed to raise money for the late Mark Shands amazingly wonderful Charity, it was an honour to be a part of it and look forward to hopefully being so again in the future!

Just 3 years ago we were lucky enough to be a part of The Elephant Family’s incredible Animal Ball 2013 held at St James Palace and attended by celebrities, fashion designers and Royalty from across the globe to raise money for Mark Shands Elephant Family Charity.. The event raised a whopping £600,000, £4000 of which was donated by Carrie Jenkinson Millinery in the form of 2 Masquerade Masks which were auctioned off from Sotheby’s along side designers such as Diane Von Furstenburg, Vivienne Westwood, Mario Testino, Jasper Conran and Minolo Blahnik to name but a few..
