With just weeks to go before the first racing event of the year The Cheltenham Festival, we at Carrie Jenkinson Millinery will be giving you our top fashion advice as well as our top fascinators and hat recommendations for this years fabulous event!

Cheltenham has always been a ‘high brow’ event attended by many of the Royal family so your choice of fashion and style needs to be excellent.

Tweeds and neutral colours are generally the favourite with race goers and headwear, fascinators and hats need to be fabulous but understated.. Beautiful pill box hat fascinators, country colours and natural feathers are definitely the way forward, with classic simple designs leading the way!

Our fascinator, hat and headwear recommendations are our favourite for this event and there is still time to get your orders in!!

Cheltenham races are from 10th-13th March http://cheltenham.thejockeyclub.co.uk/events-tickets/whats-on/the-festival-2015

In 2013 we were honoured to be invited to design 2 masquerade masks for the Elephant Family Charity and their fabulous Royal Event.. The Animal Ball!

Designers from all over the world got involved to raise awareness for African Elephants including Vivienne Westwood, Matthew Williamson, Jasper Conran, Manolo Blank to name but a few so you could imagine our excitement to be invited to design alongside these designers!

We were lucky enough to be included in the article published by Vogue Magazine READ ARTICLE

All the headpiece were exhibited at Sotheby’s in London Prior to the event…

I designed 2 headpiece, a lion worn by Brooke Barzun the wife of American Ambassador Matthew Barzun and my swam mask was worn by a wonderful lady called Rags Jacobsson who looked simply stunning on the evening..

Rags JacobssonWe were lucky to meet several fabulous people at the event itself hosted in Clarence House London, here is a pic of me and the fabulous Cara Delevingne and my headpiece which was presented to HRH Prince Charles by Brook Barzun.
